Dear Metanet Tplatform employees,

The enterprise today is facing a rapidly changing business environment defined by growing competition and market structure diversification. How deep an enterprise is trusted by all interested parties such as customers, employees, shareholders, partners, and local communities, becomes a critically important criterion when evaluating enterprise value. The enterprise can build substantial trust only when the enterprise establishes and practices strict ethical standards continuously. Ethical management based on transparency and trust is the key element for both the competitiveness and sustainable growth of the enterprise.

The recent changes in the business environment, both nationally and internationally, require us to have a higher level of business ethics. In the Republic of Korea, The Improper Solicitation and Graft Act, commonly referred to as the Kim Young-Lan Act, was enforced in 2016. Further, ethical and anti-corruption requirements are increasingly strengthened by international agreements, such as the OECD Anti-Bribery Convention and the United Nations Convention against Corruption. Therefore, it highlights the importance to comply and actively respond to business ethics, which is strengthened at home and abroad, in order to improve competitiveness in the global market as an advanced IT service company.

Accordingly, we will check internal processes and arrange systems again to spread ethical management throughout the company, based on a firm belief that ethical management and the company's interests never conflict.

Unethical behavior can bring us a profit for a moment, but it can instantly destroy the reputation we have built up over time.

We will pursue management of mutual prosperity by conducting fair trade with customers and partners, based on ethical management, and listen to customers’ voices and continue trusting relationship with customers. In addition, we will settle down an anti-corruption and fair trade culture inside the company to actively comply with applicable regulations and contribute to taking a leap forward to a fair society.
