On July 13, 2020, Microsoft announced the winners for their FY20 Partner of the Year award program. Metanet Tplatform (CEO, Konjon Lee) has been nominated and won the Partner of the Year Award – Country/Region Winner (Republic of Korea).

The Microsoft Partner of the Year Awards recognizes top innovations and significant successes among Microsoft partners. This year, 100 nations and approximately 3,300 organizations have been nominated among MS partners. Metanet Tplatform has progressed large-scaled contacts with mega enterprises, such as the nation’s largest e-commerce organization, eBay Korea. Furthermore, Metanet Tplatform has gained its reputation as a successful adventurer as they have progressed multiple "Nation’s first" Azure cases. This is the reason why Microsoft has selected Metanet Tplatform as the partner of the year.

Metanet Tplatform constructs the optimal cloud environment at any stage of its journey to the cloud through End-to-End (E2E) services that span the entire cloud from the adoption consulting to the migration and further to the managed services. Also, it is considered as the only cloud-based MSP in Korea that enables a 'true' hybrid cloud, as Metanet Platform provides not just the infrastructure, but provides a differentiated migration and security services across all areas of data, platform, and application workload.

Moreover, Metanet Tplatform achieved a high score in marking criteria for operating a specialized talent training program as an "Azure educational institution". Metanet Tplatform has been conducting the Azure training program for its employees to strengthen their knowledge and technical skills in cloud services since early this year. So far, a total of 300 employees in the Metanet Group has completed the training in the first half of the year alone, with more than 100 of them obtaining MS Azure certificates. They are still planning to nurture further 150 cloud experts on an annual basis.

"It is an honor to win Microsoft's 'Partner of the Year' award' as a representative of Korea," said Konjon Lee, CEO of Metanet Tplatform. "Metanet Tplatform will continue to become a global partner that grows with customers as a top cloud expert suitable for the digital transformation era through synergy with Microsoft."

"We thank Metanet Tplatform for providing optimal solutions to our customers at all times when digital transformation is accelerating… as Microsoft Partners, we foresee Metanet Tplatform to help more customers to transform their business environment through cloud-based services" said Hong-kook Jang, vice president of Microsoft Korea.

Meanwhile, the final winner of this year's Partner of the Year award and the finalists will participate in the annual Microsoft Inspire award ceremony.

This year, the event will be held for two days on the 21st and 22nd due to the aftermath of Corona 19. This year's awards ceremony selected partners who have proven their customer solutions and innovations based on Microsoft technology, where Metanet Tplatform will receive this year's Partner of the Year award.
